Torphins is a charming village in Royal Deeside, Aberdeenshire, situated between Banchory and Aberdeen. The settlement is semi-rural, with a small population, although it benefits from nearby attractions such as the Hill of Fare for hiking, The Peel of Lumphanan's remnants from the 13th century, and the picturesque Dess Waterfall. The Learney Arms Indian, a public house providing wonderful Indian cuisine, is one of the dining alternatives, and a well-stocked convenience store has everything you need.
