    The property is very well located, one street back from the main road through Callander, so there's no noise at all, but easy access to the town itself. It's on two levels with one of the bathrooms, at a mezzanine level serving a ground floor...

    Lovely split-level cottage in a good location. Had all the items needed to support our stay (kitchen basics, laundry etc). Great view out to the mountains from the upstairs lounge. Convenient for buses and local walks.

    Cottage is very cosy, heating and hot water worked perfectly, the best equipped kitchen I have seen in a long time, very clean. Decor is not quite my taste, but it fits with the cottage. Easy access to village and hiking paths. Outdoor seating.

Property information

Andreu Cottage is a charming and cosy cottage securely hidden in a quiet corner of Callander with spectacular views to Ben Ledi. It has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 people. The solid stone walls and traditional design give an attractive, cosy and secluded atmosphere. The ground floor comprises a large well equipped, dining/kitchen area, a double bedroom, utility room, and entrance vestibule. Stairs lead to the first floor which comprises a bright living room and well appointed twin bedroom with ‘en-suite’ bathroom. Both upstairs rooms have a spectacular outlook, over the rooftops of Callendar, towards the majestic slopes of Ben Ledi. The main bathroom is located on the ‘half-landing’. All windows are double glazed and there is gas central heating. There is a small garden at the front with a sitting area. This is an excellent base for exploring historic Scotland and is superbly situated for outdoor activities including walks, cycling, climbing and canoeing. It is also extremely easy to reach, being around one hour’s drive from Edinburgh and Glasgow, only 20 minutes from the M9 and is only a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Callander and all its amenities.

Located on the River Teith in the centre of the town of Callander. Set in the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park with Ben Ledi Mountain as its backdrop. Walking distance to all amenities, shops, restaurants and beauty spots such as Bracklin Falls & Loch Venachar. Surrounded by mountains and lochs there are lots of activities on the doorstep including access to walking, cycling and trekking paths and kayaking and canoeing on the rivers and lochs. The choice is endless.
