Overlooking the breathtaking Shiskine valley it is just a 5 minute drive from Blackwaterfoot beach, one of the finest sandy beaches on the island, and an easy 20 minute drive from Brodick ferry. Built in the early 1900s as school accommodation, the house has been moderinsed to create a warm and welcoming space which is still full of original features, charm and character. You will enjoy the large, light-filled rooms, decorated with a stylish mix of antiques and modern furniture, best quality bed linens and towels, the fully equipped kitchen/ dining room for sharing memorable meals and the enclosed garden, perfect for children (and pups). The house is ideally located for exploring the many attractions of the Isle of Arran, be it a slice of perfect cheesecake from the Blackwaterfoot Bakehouse followed by a coastal walk, a round at golf at the iconic Shiskine Golf Club (a very rare, 12 hole, course) or a horse riding lesson on the beach (see Things to do).
