Ballyheifer house is a beautiful 5 bedroom home on the edge of our family farm in Magherafelt in the heart of Mid-Ulster. A large sunroom with comfortable sofas and chairs is an ideal space for gettogethers leading to patios either side via bifold doors and on into the gardens. A great addition this year is our new 8 person wood burning hottub which will be located in an area off the gardens and overlooking the amazing surrounding landscape. Note additional rates apply for hottub use - please enquire. Four bedrooms are located upstairs with two being ensuite and a large family bathroom is also available. a ground floor bedroom is also available and suitable for anyone with lesser mobility needs with to access to a ground floor toilet and shower. We have a selection of indoor and outdoor games and books. We are within an hours drive of Derry and Belfast and also the famous Antrim coastline and Sperrin mountains with the added benefit of being close to some fantastic local attractions to include Seamus Heaney Homeplace, golf, fishing, walks and outdoor water parks. A great place to base your holiday or for that special gettogether or to simply unwind surrounded by nature.
Hi, I’m Martina and am lucky to live in the beautiful countryside of South Derry with my Husband and four children. We are happy to be able to host at our beautiful home on the edges of our farm in Ballyheifer! I will be available by email and text message for any reasonable queries and live nearby if there are any issues that need resolved.
The property is on the edge of Magherafelt, a very popular market town with shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, leisure centre, golf and much more. Easy access to main road routes leading to Derry and Belfast within one hour and to the Antrim coast with world famous golf courses and attractions as well as to local attractions such as Seamus Heaney Homeplace, The Jungle, Davagh Forest, The Sperrins, The Dark Sky Observatory, The lake, Kilrea, Portglenone Forest , Ballyronan Marina and much much more. There is ample parking at the property. Car Hire/ Use is advised. Taxis can be hired. Bus routes to most local towns run daily from the local town with a Bus station located in the centre of he town. Buses also run hourly from the nearby Castledawson roundabout to Derry and Belfast. Ref Translink.
