The beach and Downs are within a 5 minute walk and a 20 minute bus ride takes you into Brighton. The Kelp house is spacious, warm and also airy with its two sky lights.

Hi, we send a warm welcome and glad you are interested in staying in Kelp House. We are both teachers with two young children and proud of where we live. We love the fact you can be in 3 landscapes within 5-20 minutes. The South Downs, the beach or enjoying the eclectic delights of Brighton and Hove. If the sunshine is out and it’s warm then whatever the people of Brighton were doing it is deemed as not that important and everyone heads to the beach to socialise, involve themselves into sport and fitness activities or a naked bike ride of silent disco walk! Anything goes in Brighton. It really is one of the best places to live. We are happy to help with any questions you have or how to explore and enjoy the local area. The neighbourhood is a residential area just off the Coast road but at the back of the house is generally quiet. Park your vehicle on Fairlight Avenue, alternatively drive down the back road where there is an allocated parking place adjacent to the Kelp House. As we are situated on the coast road, buses towards Brighton and Eastbourne are reached within a 1 minute walk East or West. They arrive every 5-10 minutes. Bus journey times to Brighton are around 20-25 minutes. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants within a stones throw on the coast road if you would prefer to stay local.
