Around 25 miles from central Edinburgh, Black Bull enjoys a prominent location in the pretty Scottish Borders town of Lauder. A family-owned hotel with an elegant restaurant and cosy bar, Black Bull sits on Market Place close to the local shops, and offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. Each room includes a TV, telephone, hairdryer and tea and coffee facilities. There is an en suite bathroom with shower or bath, and complementary toiletries. The dining room serves a variety of seasonal dishes making use of local meat, fish and game. The informal Harness Room bar provides a relaxing environment in which to enjoy cask ales, cocktails or wines. Black Bull can be found on the A68, running from Northumberland, just over 30 miles south, to the Scottish capital city of Edinburgh. The towns of Peebles and Berwick-upon-Tweed are both around 45 minutes from Lauder.
