Beautiful detached and secluded cottage that is 10 minutes walk to Boscombe pier and 35 minutes walk into Bournemouth centre. The walk to Boscombe pier is via the beautiful Boscombe gardens with it's own crazy golf and cafe.This is our own holiday home that has been in the family for 30 years and is very special to us. Outside there is is a lovely flowered courtyard.

Sharon and myself live and work in Rickmansworth just outside of London. We are hosts for two lovely holiday homes , one in Bournemouth and one in Stratford upon Avon. We have two Children aged 8 and 14. They both love Bournemouth as they love spending lots of time in the sea. They also love going to Stratford for it's great restaurants and the trampoline in the back garden. We love Stratford also for the great restaurants as it is a town of outstanding architectural beauty and Shakespeare history. You really need to try the lovely restaurants in Sheep street, enjoy a walk in the cotswolds, or visit some of the nearby cotswold villages such as Bourton on the water or Stow on the wold. In Bournemouth, as well as going to the beach we love having walks in the New Forest or even hiring bikes. We hope you love these homes as much as we do. We live in Rickmansworth ( just outside of London) but we are always available by phone if you should need us. We are experienced hosts and are sure your stay at the Cottage will be a lovely one.

The 10 minute walk from the cottage to the beach is a pleasure in itself. Most of the walk is through Boscombe Chine Gardens. These are lovely gardens that include a crazy golf with a nice cafe. We will often have a coffee here whilst watching the children play the crazy golf. There is also a land train that stops in the gardens which you can use to go along the front to Bournemouth's Central pier. If you are feeling a bit lazy, then bus service into Bournemouth ( or Christchurch for a change of scenery) is superb. The bus stop is only a few minutes away and the service is every six minutes. During the summer months there is also an open top bus that goes to Swanage via a chain link ferry. This makes for an interesting novelty trip.
