Here is a list of items we provide to assist you with your packing: all bed linen (excluding cot), bath towels, hand towels and flannels, 2 toilet rolls, 1 kitchen roll, hand soap, dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid, 2 washing powder tabs, 2 tea towels, 1 kitchen hand towel, 1 oven gloves, 1 J cloth, 1 scourer, salt, pepper, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, a pint of milk and tea tray on arrival. We also have a hair dryer, iron, small travel ironing board and a clothes airer. You are welcome to make use of three of our fields during your stay provided there is not any livestock. Two fields are directly in front of and to the side of the lodge, and the other can be accessed via the gateway directly opposite Bramble Barn. You might also enjoy a local river walk. Use the footpath on the other side of the hedge to the lodge, go under the railway bridge until you get to a mill with very tall trees, walk along the footpath directly under the tall trees, once over the little footbridge you can take the left fork to go into Charfield Village, or the right fork for the river walk and onwards to Tortworth. There is also a very nice little woodland and nature reserve bordering our field, to get to this go left out of the lodge until you get to a very steep hill. Half way down the steep hill there is a gateway with Charfield Meadow labelled.
