We are a family of four with 2 friendly dogs and several hens! We have been lucky enough to live in the Falmouth area for the best part of 25 years & have fallen in love with this particular bit of the coastline. When the derelict barns came on the market back in 2013, we embarked on the project of a lifetime. No planning permission when we bought them, just a huge amount of potential. Fast forward many years of hard work and we love welcoming guests to our little piece of paradise. We live here in Meudon, but very much leave you to enjoy your holiday in peace! We are, however, usually around should you need anything.

As I type this we currently have 219 reviews with an average of 4.93 out of 5 on Airbnb so you can see that guests love Bream Loft! ‘Bream Loft' is a beautiful fully furnished, dog friendly cosy loft with a woodburner and sunny balcony between Falmouth & the Helford River, within walking distance of restaurants, cafes, a pub & a shop. Easy walk to Maenporth beach, & the Helford River, and also Bream Cove, a fabulous place to swim. 10 mins drive into Falmouth. Bream Loft has a fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable king size bed, and amazing walk in shower. Distant sea view from the kitchen, a sunny balcony and is set in 2 acres of garden which guests are welcome to use. Sleeps up to 4 guests comfortably in one bedroom and two sofa-beds in the lounge.

Meudon is a small hamlet consisting of a small dairy farm, a few pretty cottages and barn conversions, and two hotels. Our most famous residents are Arthur, Avis, Maureen and Mavis, our beautiful peacocks and their babies, who roam around the hamlet. Next door is the fabulous Hotel Meudon, with its award winning restaurant, cocktail bar 'Freddys'. They do incredible Sunday roasts, summer BBQs with live music. You can sit in their lounge and drink coffee, or have a cream tea, or walk through their beautiful tropical gardens to Bream Cove for a swim. A relatively unknown place to dip, but in our opinion one of the very best in Cornwall Within ten minutes walk is the pretty village of Mawnan Smith with its thatched pub, Awna the cafe, and the village shop which sells everything you need, mostly fresh local produce. Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens are both within 5 mins drive from 'Little Bream', (or 25 mins walk) and also Helford Passage with the waterside pub The Ferry Boat Inn. In the opposite direction is Maenporth beach, with its fabulous beach cafe, watersports rentals, and beautiful sandy beach. Falmouth is an hours walk along the coast path.
