Buckieburn is a fully modernised spacious house with well equipped kitchen that awaits you in rural Stirlingshire. Come and find a hidden gem tucked away in central Scotland whether you are on a business trip or wanting to get away from it all on a family holiday. A perfect location (only 7 miles from the Stirling Services motorway junction) to start from and have a day of exertions or adventures before you return to relax in a comfortable house with a cosy wood burning stove in the lounge. Set back 200yds from the road the house and garden is for your exclusive use and enjoyment. With spacious bedrooms the house sleeps six adults in comfort. We may not be able to remove the single bed in the family room if you are a smaller group booking at the last minute.
Enjoy the surrounding countryside by getting out and about walking, fishing, hiking, bird-watching or cycling as everything is on your doorstep. Get your timing right, be lucky and cross-country ski from the kitchen door or view the spectacular Northern Lights in winter.
Close to everything (Carron Valley fishing and mountain biking, Loch Lomond National Park, the historic sights of Stirling, and bigger cultural centres of Edinburgh and Glasgow), yet out in the countryside, with open views from the house as far as the Pentland Hills south of Edinburgh. Buckieburn is in its own rain shadow protected from the worst of the west coast weather and often in the clear crisp air above the Forth Valley's rolling fog.
