Cargurra Farm Cottages is made up of six self-catering cottages perfect for families, friends or couples looking to getaway. Our cottages are near the highest point of our 200 acre farm with views of both the farm and Boscastle.
Cargurra Farm is an ideal base for families. It has lots of green spaces for the children to safely explore, well away from public roads. The large gardens with picnic tables and bbqs are a perfect place to enjoy the summer sun while watching the children play. Opposite the cottages is a large games room which guests can enjoy free of charge (perfect for rainy days) this includes table tennis, a pool table, darts and toys for children.
For walkers our farm has several footpaths which join you to the North Coast and with it the coastal footpath. From there you can experience the dramatic North coast with its rugged landscape and dynamic ocean. For those less keen on walking Cargurra Farm has good road access allowing you to explore the rest of Cornwall and South Devon.
Great for couples we have cosy cottages where you can snuggle up in front of the fire and enjoy a glass of wine along with an extensive DVD library.
This land has been farmed by our family for five generation and we want to share it with you offering you our own little piece of happiness while you stay with us. We are always available to help with holiday information or plans, living and working the farm means we are only a phone call away. We look forward to welcoming you to our farm very soon.
The cottages are owned and run by Julian, his wife Amy and Julian's mum, Gillian. The Victorian barn was renovated in 1984 by the family and the 2 farm cottages more recently. Regular updates have happened over the years with new bathrooms and kitchens being fitted and the 6 cottages are now beautifully presented self catering holiday cottages. The cottages are set in 200 acres of farm land which is a mix of arable and grazing cattle
