Carnach House is situated on an elevated position with lovely views overlooking the Moray Firth. The garden is home to red squirrels ,deer and birds of prey. It is also surrounded by Scots pine trees making it a sun trap in the summer months.
Your hosts Ian and Hilary Smith have a wealth of experience in the hospitality business having run hotels over a long period. They take pride in looking after their guests and ensuring they enjoy their stay at Carnach House.
Close by in the town of Nairn (only 1mile from us) is a superb beach , two excellent golf courses with Castle Stuart golf course only 5 miles from us. Fort George, Cawder Castle and Culloden battlefield are also close by. Nairn also boasts lovely river walks, some excellent restaurants and during the summer months the Nairn show , the Nairn games and a very popular Real Ale festival and many more activities. What ever your reason for visiting us Ian,Hilary and Nairn will make you most welcome.
