Company information

We are a new business launching in April 2024. Our pods are brand new with fully modern interiors and furnishings. We have lived in and around the area for a number of years and are passionate about giving guests the opportunity to experience all this beautiful area of the national park has to offer. We are keen walkers, cyclists and surfers and have set up our site to cater for those looking for a peaceful getaway or a little extra adventure.

At 'Carriage House Glamping Pods' we are set at the heart of the 'North Yorkshire Moors National Park', less than 5 miles from the 'Yorkshire Coast'. Our fully serviced pods are heated and insulated for all seasons. Wake up to spectacular views of the forge valley from the comfort of your own bed or enjoy an outdoor meal from your own private seated decking area. Our pods come with fully equipped kitchens and shower rooms and we provide full linen and towels so you can pack light but enjoy all that Yorkshire glamping has to offer. Bring your bike and store it securely on-site in our outdoor cycle sheds.

Neighbourhood information

There so much to do in the local area from exceptional walking and cycling routes to exploring some of the most remote and beautiful beaches the Yorkshire coast has to offer. Alongside this the 'Great Dalby Forrest' is only 10 minutes drive and homes some of the best mountain biking and adventure trails in the UK. Local villages such as Hackness, Scalby Village and Thorton Le Date offer a true experience of Yorkshire heritage and have a great selection of shops, cafe's, pubs, restaurants, local markets and general amenities.
