A charming detached chalet bungalow located in Norfolk's well known medieval village of Little Walsingham. The village is a few miles inland from the coast at Wells-next-the-Sea, Holkham and Brancaster and with excellent local facilities at Fakenham Market Town and with some lovely local walks on the door step.
We can host 10 adults, otherwise our small double bunk beds can sleep 4 kids allowing us to host 12
This is our home from home, near to the coast and grand parents. Ethan is 5 and Olivia is 2 and we love spending time here and hope our guests also get to make some happy memories in this charming property.
The chalet bungalow has been lovingly updated and modernised to retain it's charm. Conveniently located with easy access to both beautiful rural Norfolk countryside and the North Norfolk coastline at Wells-next-the-Sea. A 10 minute drive will take you to Wells-next-the-Sea and there is also a regular bus No. 36 that also goes to the beach where you will find all the facilities and amenities of a seaside town - great shops, cafes, a busy working Quayside and a stunning wide-open beach framed by pine woods and it's famous array of colourful beach huts
On the ground floor there is a lovely and light hallway leading to a kitchen with a sociable island with access to a cloak room and open plan dinning and lounge. Through the dinning area, there is a conservatory with a covered roof perfect for sitting in and enjoying the mornings and evenings which leads to the garden. The garden has a paved area for lounging and eating as well as a lawn for kids and dogs to play at.
Additionally, we have a double bedroom on the ground floor with a walk in ensuite shower room. This room cam sleep 3 (using the pullout single bed)
On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms
1. Master bedroom with a double bed and a single bed with built in wardrobes (sleeps 3)
2. Double bedroom with a double bed with built in wardrobes (sleeps 2)
3. A small double with 4 ft (small double) bunk beds which can sleep two adults or 4 kids
There is also a bathroom with a shower above the bath.
Outside, the front garden is shingled and ample parking for 3/4 cars. From here the side gate allows access to the private rear garden which has a paved patio with a wooden wall with steps up to a raised lawn area surrounded by a mix of fencing and hedging.
Just a two minutes walk to a coffee shop and an award winning farm shop and only five minutes walk from two pubs for eating out. There are also numerous places to order in from. For little ones, there is a playground and playing fields directly across the
