Our 15th century farmhouse has lots of period features including a passage to a secret priest hole, doors probably taken from the castle and gunshot found in the garden from the battle at Nunney castle. We offer a personal service including homemade jams and provide locally sourced products wherever possible. Our rooms are individual, spacious and quirky.
Welcome to Cherrytree farm we look forward to sharing our newly renovated farmhouse and garden with you. You can enjoy our peaceful walled garden which has views of Nunney castle. We are passionate about preserving the history of the house and have renovated to ensure this . We both enjoy interior design and garden design and are proud to have renovated a lot of the house and garden ourselves. We aim to have a sustainable approach to waste and recycling and have reused many items to renovate the house.
The village has a strong community with many village events throughout the year from the Easter Bonnet parade to Carols in the Castle. The area is surrounded by lovely walks and peaceful cycle routes. Frome is a vibrant town 10 minutes away which has many events and places to eat and drink , for example the monthly Frome independent market. Hauser and Wirth and Messums art galleries are both half an hour away. Stourhead (a beautiful national trust property ) is 20 minutes away.
