Situated in the delightful grounds of Birkfield House, near Holt, this luxuriously appointed double shepherd's hut boasts a beautiful William Holland copper and nickel bath, outdoor private hot-tub as well as a full shower room, kitchen, dining and seating areas - plus al-fresco options and outdoor space overlooking the pond from its own private deck. Attention to detail is so important to me and I want to make sure you arrive feeling ready to relax. As such, the hut will be pre-supplied with breakfast products - eggs, bacon, bread, butter, milk as well as a sweet and savoury snacks and treats - and even baked beans, so if you arrive in the evening, you don't even have to go out to eat! So many of our guests love this feature - your holiday doesn't start with a trip to the supermarket, it starts as soon as you arrive.

I was born and raised in Norfolk, then moved around all over the place - at one point living in France - and eventually ended up back here with a husband and four kids!

High Kelling is a quiet village just outside Holt - the historic market town with many specialist and local shops (often frequented by royalty and celebrities). Birkfield House is a few minutes walk from Kelling Heath - an outstandingly beautiful area with sea views. The seaside town of Sheringham is accessible on foot (over 1 hour's fabulous walk) as well as by steam train from Holt or Weybourne station. There are no pubs or restaurants within sensible walking distance, but we will provide a list of the best places to eat well before you arrive.
