Located a mile from Petworth and less than a minute's walk from the Horse Guards Inn, 2017 Good Pub Guide 'pub of the year', we are set in a lovely part of the South Downs National Park overlooking the Rother Valley. We back on to the wonderful 700-acre deer park landscaped by Capability Brown and are a fifteen-minute walk from Petworth House and the market town of Petworth, known for its antiques, arts and culture and host to some delicious restaurants, cafes and awards winning deli's!
A busy career travelling the World reminds me of the importance of. 'Home Sweet Home'. I have created a space that provides the comforts of home in an area of outstanding natural beauty, ensuring you have a relaxed and peaceful stay. I love the Village we live in and hope that I can give you a little glimpse into all the wonderfully diverse things to see and do and how best to enjoy them, as we do as a family. I look forward to welcoming you and sharing all of our little secrets about The South Downs National Park and the surrounding areas!
We are located in a quiet rural village that is surrounded by fields, vineyards and wonderful views of the South Downs National Park. Petworth, with its cobbled street and antique shops is a few minutes drive or a lovely 15 min walk away through Petworth Park and provides several restaurants, coffee shops and a convenience store. A 10 minute drive south is the South Downs Way offering beautiful walks amongst the rolling chalk downland and dry valleys of the South Downs. Arundel, the market town with its towering castle, is 20 minutes drive. The cathedral city of Chichester is 25 minutes drive and fashionable Brighton 45 minutes away. West Wittering, with its wonderful views of Chichester Harbour and unspoilt sandy beach and dunes is 35 minutes south and provides wind and kite surfing for those seeking something a little more active!
