Set in an Edwardian country house within secluded landscaped gardens, Claverton Hotel is located on a country lane. Breakfasts are freshly cooked to order using local produce. With an elegant décor, each room has a flat-screen LCD TV with satellite channels. Guests have free Wi-Fi access and tea and coffee making facilities in their room. Carr Taylor Vineyard is a 15-minute walk away and the centre of Battle, with its abbey ruins, is 3 miles from Claverton Hotel. Hastings seafront and Bodiam Castle are just 10 minutes’ drive away. London is 1 hour by train. Overlooking the garden, guests can enjoy drinks from the Bar or an evening meal from the Bistro menu Monday to Saturday.
