「Lovely home stay BnB. Everything you need and delightful people. Highly recommended.」
The accommodation available here is a form of 'granny flat'. It is part of our property but is self- contained, with its own entrance & offers privacy. We have had visitors from all around the world during the past 4 years & it has proved very popular.
My husband & I are now both retired - me from a teaching career & Michael from the world of computers. We have a large, extended family & enjoy spending time with them all. We are quite fit & take part in several activities. We enjoy meeting people and are happy to offer accommodation to visitors to Peterborough.
Orton Waterville is a small village about 5 miles from the centre of Peterborough. Although it is now a part of the newly developed Ortons, it is old enough to be mentioned in the 'Doomsday Book' & once surrounded by farms. It is situated just off the A1 & can be reached without travelling through Peterborough itself. Several businesses & business parks have settled around the village & the Peterborough Arena, at the Showground, is 10 minutes away. Also on the 'doorstep' is the Nene Valley Contry park a wonderful place for outdoor pursuits including a water sports centre. Peterborough itself has a beautiful cathedral & quite an amount of history that can be found in the city's museum.
