Explore picturesque Sudeley Castle, once home to Henry VIII’s wife Katherine Parr, and stroll the award-winning gardens. Hop on the heritage GWSR steam train to Cheltenham Racecourse or the neighbouring village of Broadway, often described as “the Jewel of the Cotswolds” with panoramic views across a number of counties on the walk up to Broadway Tower. For walkers, Winchcombe offers direct access to the Cotswold Way and scenic trails to Belas Knap, Hailes Abbey and the delightful village of Stanton, where The Mount Inn provides arguably one of the best pub views in the region. Other nearby gems include Snowshill, Guiting Power, Bourton-on-the-Water, and the Slaughters.
