Great spot with a pub up the road and close to all North Devon attractions. Character cottage full of many fascinating things with a clear love of dogs (albeit no dog scents). Great shower-best electric one I have used. Lovely welcome by the owner...

Cosy Nook is a Devon grade 2 listed 500 year old thatched cottage with views of Exmoor. The chocolate box cottage is very pretty, cosy and welcoming sleeping up to 3 people in two bedrooms. There are many period features with beams and an inglenook fireplace. Please note the burner in the inglenook cannot be used to comply with insurance policy. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and includes a washing machine. The charming bedrooms will offer you a good nights sleep in a king size bed (or twin beds )in the main and a single in the smaller bedroom. There is a cottage styled garden to the rear with seating for alfresco dining and is ideal for those holidaying with a small dog. Please note only one small dog permitted
I absolutely love this cottage and its quirky features. I love the outdoors and Cosy Nook is an ideal base for exploring Exmoor and North Devon. My love is the north coast for walking my dogs on the beaches and taking in the dramatic scenery. I can help/advise what to do and where to go whether is the quaint villages and tea rooms or the many open gardens or beaches to visit.
North Molton is in the fringe of Exmoor with stunning views. Sits on the River Mole. There are miles of walking routes and many pretty surrounding villages to sightsee. There is s pub in the village which is dog friendly and serves great food. There a many tea rooms and pubs to visit. Withypool only 10 minutes away is one of the prettiest rural villages set on the river Barle has an award winning tea room, post office and pub. North Molton now has a community shop in the village and more shops in neighbouring market town of South Molton which holds a market on Thursdays and Saturdays. Barnstable is the main town and Minehead is in easy reach. If it’s North Devon you wish to visit there are many beaches within an hours drive such as Instow, Ilfracombe Staunton sands, Croybe and Bude. Lots of gardens to visit, Castle Hill Estate, RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Marwood gardens, Tapeley Park are just a few to mention. . The dramatic north coast from Minehead to Porlock, Lynton to the Valley of the Rocks is some of the best coastal scenery in England boasting the highest cliffs. The scenery is awesome and there are many pretty villages including the Lorna Doone valley, Bossington beach and Porlock weir with Lynton known as Little Switzerland with a vertical railway. The steam train goes from Minehead to Bishops Lydiard where you can explore all the coastal villages such as Watchet and Exmoor villages.
