Grade II listed Evenwood Gables was once an old retired and unloved cow barn and is now one of three stunning barn conversions lovingly and tastefully restored, retaining many of its original period features, including exposed beams and stonework, on a small farm development. With panoramic views of the Shropshire Hills; wonderful local walks; and within striking distance of historic Shrewsbury and the River Severn, Evenwood Gables is a fabulous base for couples or families to discover all that Shropshire has to offer.

Nearby Shrewsbury provides plenty of restaurants, pubs and shopping. Enjoy a river cruise along the River Severn aboard the Sabrina.
Golfers are spoilt for choice between Shrewsbury Golf Club (6 miles), Church Stretton Golf Club (11 miles), or Hawkstone Park (21 miles).
The beautiful Shropshire Hills are a walker's paradise where you can climb The Lawley and Caer Caradoc trail and enjoy panoramic views towards the Wrekin. Walks along the National Trust's Long Mynd and Carding Mill Valley will reward you with breath-taking scenery.
Just 10 minutes' drive away is Attingham Park, a beautiful National Trust run, Regency mansion with 200 aces of parkland.
Visit the Acton Scott Museum, also known as the setting for BBC 2's 'Victorian Farm', Stokesay Castle, Ludlow Castle and of course, the fabulous Ironbridge Museum, a wonderful and interesting day out.
There are plenty of good restaurants nearby including The Pound in Leebotwood, The Oak in Cardington, The Raven in Much Wenlock and Housemans in Church Stretton - all approximately 7-11 miles away.
