Black Knowe, Ballycastle is overlooking Fair Head in a farm setting with wild chickens and Al Pacas.  With self-check-in/out you are safe, secure, but can create your own holiday experience.  Open all year round - Minimum 2 night stay in July and August.  BBQ and camp fire pack are recommended! A perfect rural getaway along the Causeway Coastal Route. They’re cosy, fully furnished and have all the comforts of home including electric, running water, mini fridge and heating. 
Each pod features an expansive glazed entrance, coffee dock, ensuite shower room, and somewhere to sit and relax. Pods are for up to 4 people with a comfy double bed and hotel-quality bed-linen included, plus integrated bunkbeds tucked away, ideal for tweens or teens.This pod set up is for 2 adults and 2 kids with a double bed & bunk beds suitable for 15 years & under (under 5ft5).

Black Knowe has been a working farm from the early 1600s, where families have utilised the farmland to produce industrial and agricultural assets. The four buildings within the farmyard originate from the initial farming settlement and the building configuration was known as a clachan (Irish: Small settlement or village). Rachel will be your on site host, who lives and works on the farm.
Rachel is your host, and it was her dream to open a glamping site on her family farm after moving home from Australia.
As per our precautions, the host will only come on site if you need her to. Everything is set up for your stay before you check-in.  All contact details are provided.
Situated in the heart of the Glens of Antrim, Black Knowe’s unique pods are located on private farmland, a short drive from the Causeway Coastal Route`s major attractions, Giants Causeway, Carrick- a Rede Rope Bridge and Game of Thrones film sites: Ballintoy Harbour and The Dark Hedges.
5 minute drive from Ballycastle Town and beach area, plus some hidden gems like Kinbane Castle.  The local taxi firms will also pick up guests who would like to go into the local town for a meal or a drink.
