Set in quiet countryside, surrounded by open fields. Within easy reach of Constable Country and Heritage Coast. Accessibility to accommodation at all times. Finjaro is a Large Chalet Bungalow situated on the outskirts of Ipswich, down a quiet country lane. Ample off road parking. Free Weekend Function Travel, within a 5 mile radius (outward journeys only) If you wish to speak to us you will find all our contact details on Finjaro Guesthouse. Guide/Assistance Dogs are more than welcome in our Ground Floor Jade Double Room ( Please make us aware when making the reservation that you have an Assistance Dog) Sorry Guide/Assistance Dogs only.
Hello my name is Jan and my Husband is Roger. We have two very friendly small dogs who keep me very active. We like to travel our favourite place is Australia where we have some very dear friends who have retired out there so we like to visit them when ever possible. I took early retirement 6 years ago after completing 35 yrs as a civil servant. I have been running our home as a Guest House since 1989. We try and go the extra mile to make our guests feel very welcome and comfortable.
The Local Attractions Near by:- Hintlesham Fisheries 0.5miles peaceful quiet fishing with well stocked lakes. Hintlesham Golf Club 1.7 miles - one of the finest golf courses in the PGA'S East if England Region. Ipswich Town Football Club 2.9 miles Ipswich Town Centre 3.05 miles : Ipswich is Englands oldest continuosly settled Anglo-Saxon Town. Visit the Victorian Wet Dock which is undergoing an exciting renaissance with it's waterfront bars and restaurants. Or visit our cluster of towns and villages in the area known as Suffolks Wool Towns and much of the fine medieval architecture of the houses and churches owe their grand appearance to the wealth generated by the manufacture of woollen cloth. Nearby Sudbury is the birthplace of painter Thomas Gainsborough. Debenham is another Suffolk gem and was also a thriving wool town. It has many delightful small shops and cafes. Dedham Vale includes the area known as 'Constable Country'. Where the artist John Constable lived and drew inspiration for his paintings. There are other towns and villages too numerous to mention.
