We are a small, family run business. Robert, the owner takes care of most front of house duties with the rest of the family pitching in to help when needed. We like to communicate with our guests in order to ensure they are happy with their accommodation and we will pull out all stops to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay. We offer single ,double, twin, or triple rooms. All rooms are centrally heated, double-glazed, have tea and coffee making facilities, equipped with a wash-hand basin and flat-screen TV. Writing desks are also available upon request. All public areas are cleaned daily. Rooms are changed for all new guests and for longer term guests, this is done weekly. This weekly clean will be arranged to suit the guests' plans. Only a 20 min drive away are the following areas according to AA route finder: Paisley(in the West), Eaglesham and East Kilbride(in the South),Hamilton(in the East) and Bearsden(in the North)

Glades House is a friendly , clean and affordable accommodation suited to tradesmen, business people,students or tourists alike. We do not supply breakfast, but instead, provide use of a fully equipped kitchen for all cooking or laundry requirements. This makes us a very suitable destination for both a long or, short term stay. The fact that we do not charge a mandatory breakfast rate means our prices are more competitive than most. The communal kitchen can be used at all times, for all meals, meaning eating in is very convenient. Also, we are within a short drive/walk of all major fast food stores including Dominoes pizza(15 min walk),McDonalds and KFC(10 min drive),Chinese takeaways , Indian restaurants and fish and chip shops(10min walk). We are also close to a few public houses which are varied in who they cater for(either smart or casual drinking).The vibrant nightlife of Shawlands'(bars, restaurants ,night clubs) is only a short cab ride away(25min walk) and the city centre is accessible in 7 minutes from Crosshill train station which is only a 100 metre walk away. These amenities mean you have the best of both worlds with a quiet street for a good sleep and a busier area located far enough away.

Glades House is located around 1.5 miles to the south of the city centre. It is located only 100 metres away from Crosshill train station which only takes 7 minutes to arrive in the city centre(Glasgow Central train station). All of the major motorway junctions are accessible by car within a 10 minute drive allowing you to access the whole of Glasgow within 20 minutes maximum. We also have a large 24 hour supermarket nearby(only a 10 minute walk) and are ideally located for Hampden Park(a ten minute walk away).Our property is situated on a quiet cul-de-saq meaning a quiet night's sleep is guaranteed. This location also ensures that there is ample, free on-street parking available. We also offer private and furnished ,well nurtured gardens. Hampden Park is only 700m away. We are also situated nearby to all amenities ,including : fast food shops, pubs, a 24hour superstore, petrol stations ,newsagents and  sandwich shops. All public transport is easily accessible with a train station only 100m away taking 7 minutes to get to the centre and a bus stop only 200m away also. All motorway junctions are within a 10 min drive allowing full access to Glasgow quickly and easily.
