In addition, the cottage has a south-facing sundeck and a dedicated patio for outdoor entertaining. The Granary is in the beautiful grounds of Rectory Farm, a handsome red-brick property dating to the 1850s, which is almost equidistant from the tiny Cotswold villages of Great Wolford and Barton-on-the-Heath. It sits atop a small hill with stunning views to the church spire of St Michael & All Angels in Great Wolford and Brailes Hill in the distance. The Granary is very much far from the madding crowd yet is just two miles from Compton village where there is a great pub - The Red Lion - and is only 30 minutes’ drive from many of the region’s most popular locations, including Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford, Chipping Campden, Bourton-on-the-Water and Blenheim Palace.
