Welcome to Hay Farm House on the beautiful Ford and Etal Estate. Our aim is to make your stay with us an enjoyable and memorable one with the emphasis on good food, very comfortable surroundings, relaxation, peace and tranquility. We are in the ideal location for visiting the splendid attractions of the 'Secret Kingdom' of Northumberland and the wonderful Scottish Borders Region. Dramatic landscapes, the beautiful Heritage coastline, an abundance of castles and fine houses or the rolling hills and valleys will give you much to see and do. Within easy travelling distance of Holy Island, Bamburgh, Alnwick or boat trips to The Farne Islands from Seahouses. Just across the border you will find the historic Abbey towns of Kelso, Jedburgh and Melrose. Excellent walks (for all abilities), golf, fishing, cycling, horse- riding, carriage driving and gliding all close by. We offer excellent food using the best of local produce. Luxury accommodation with lots of thoughtful extras. Hay Farm House is in a peaceful, rural location between Ford Village and Heatherslaw Mill on the beautiful Ford & Etal Country Estate. Situated on a hill there are spectacular, panoramic views over the surrounding countryside, south to the Cheviot hills and west toward the Scottish Borders. Approximately 10 miles north of Wooler (gateway to the Cheviots) and 11 miles south of the historic town of Berwick upon Tweed.
