Highgate House, a magnificent Grade II* Listed Georgian townhouse located on the prestigious St Hilda's Terrace in the heart of Whitby. The former captain's residence and once upon a time rectory, epitomises all that is expected of a Georgian property, and certainly does not fail to impress with its grandeur. Please note that there are several flights of stone steps to access the house from the street and 2 flights of stairs to access the rooms from the hall. Also, the walk to and from town is via a steep slope. Highgate House may therefore not be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties.
