Hi, I’m Weiyan (or just Yan). I’m a proud mum of two wonderful children and happily married to John – who jokingly calls himself the “big useless one” in the family! I’ve lived here for 17 years and have done a bit of everything along the way – working as a cleaner, carer, pizza chef, and even running my own shop and post office. These days, I manage holiday rentals and Airbnbs, and I’m hoping to become a foster carer from June 2023.

Welcome to Mountain View – a bright and spacious first-floor flat with beautiful mountain views. Perfect for families, couples or friends, it’s a great base for a coastal break or countryside adventure. The flat sleeps 5 adults (or 6 with a child) and includes two comfy bedrooms, a large kitchen/diner, a generous lounge with a 65” TV and sofa bed, and a bathroom with bath and overhead shower. Bedroom 2 can be set up with either two single beds or a super king, giving you flexibility for your stay. You’ll also have a private enclosed garden with outdoor seating and stunning views. Off-road parking and access to a private garage. Just leave muddy boots and wet paws in the porch, and no outdoor shoes upstairs please. We’re happy to welcome pets, though there is an additional charge of fifty pounds per stay. For stays longer than 7 days, additional weekly cleans are available at 65 pounds per clean. Guests have full, private access to the flat. Entry is via a secure lockbox.

Tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac in a small village on the side of the mountain, Mountain View is a peaceful spot to relax after a day out exploring. It’s just a 2-minute walk to the local corner shop and a handy takeaway, so you’ve got the essentials close by. You’re in a great location for all sorts of adventures – from the sandy stretch of Aberavon Beach to the scenic walking and cycling trails in the Afan Valley, and the wide open spaces of Margam Country Park. The Gower Peninsula, with its stunning beaches and dramatic coastline, is only a 20-minute drive away. For anything else you need, Port Talbot is just down the road with supermarkets, pubs, cafés and takeaways – perfect for grabbing supplies or enjoying a night off cooking.
