This is a charming and spacious split-level three double bedroom end-terrace late Victorian property. It has recently been refurbished from top to bottom including the bathrooms and kitchen. On the ground floor you will find a wide entrance hall, a double-length through lounge, a large kitchen/ breakfast room, a separate dining room and a ground floor cloakroom. Upstairs are three generous bedrooms, a bathroom/ wc with a luxurious shower and a separate shower room/ wc.
In the kitchen you will find a washing machine and separate tumble dryer, a full-size dishwasher, separate full-height height fridge and freezer together with an electric oven and induction hob. We've also provided plenty of pots & pans with as many utensils as we could think of. There is a generous selection of tableware and cutlery as well so you shouldn't ever be short of a knife and fork.
Full fibre internet access has been installed and the provider guarantees speeds in excess of 100Mbps. We have tested reception throughout the property and can confirm this appears to be true.
There is a good size flat screen TV in the lounge which has all the usual Freeview channels with a record function if required. We also have a Google TV streamer attached for your own streaming services.
As mentioned, the house has recently been refurbished which included the kitchen and bathrooms together with brand new gas central heating and a full rewire. Fire alarms and smoke detectors have been installed for visitor safety.
Hi there, I'm Chris.
I have worked in and around properties since I left school. I'm originally from North London and moved down to Sussex in 2003 migrating to the coast in 2019. I absolutely love it here and hope you will too.
I'm delighted to take this first step into hosting and hope that I can make your stay as pleasant as possible. I've stayed in a few places myself and hope that I've got things "just-so".
I'm a bit of a geek, ride big motorbikes, have two grown up daughters and love riding horses (which I don't do often enough). I spend part of my time in the UK and part of the time travelling abroad.
The house is located about five minutes from the beach which is part sandy and partly pebbly. The beachfront has a promenade to walk along with several cafes. The local train station is also about five minutes walk away so getting to Arundel, Chichester, Brighton or even up to London is easy to do.
If walking is your thing then it is possible to walk all the way to Worthing (or even Brighton) along the seashore. The South Downs National Park is also within easy reach so pleasant walks over rolling hills is also possible.
Local attractions include a funfair, a small shopping centre which is currently undergoing some regeneration and some great local bars restaurants. There are also some award winning country pubs just a short drive away for that extra dining experience.
