Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: 13 steps in garden. There is a lake in the grounds, 10 metres away.. Situated peacefully at the end of the owners drive with lovely open views, this spacious apartment is ideal for a couple looking for a relaxing break or as touring base. 2 miles from the village of Baston, where there are shops and pubs, the apartment lies just 8 miles from Stamford’s excellent shopping, cafés, restaurants, and inns. Walking, cycling, fishing and water sports at Rutland Water are a 25 minute drive away, Geoff Hamilton’s glorious gardens at Barnsdale, Burghley House and horse trials, the quaint market town of Oakham, and Uppingham (home to the famous school) are all also a short drive and offer good days out as you explore the area.
