Tucked away privately on our drive, The Nest is a characterful weather-boarded property approached via an external wooden staircase to the first-floor tree-house style balcony entrance. Nestled under the canopy of an old pear and Scots pine tree, you will enjoy your own private garden below, furnished with dining table and chairs, a tranquil spot where you can relax, read, listen to the birds and enjoy the wonderful woodland views surrounded by nature.
There are woodland walks from the public footpath on your doorstep without needing to get in your car. If you are planning to eat out locally, the highly regarded and charming Coach and Horses gastro-pub in School Lane, Danehill a short stroll up the lane and is open Weds-Sun (Sun for lunch only) - we would advise advance booking. There are 2 pubs in Horsted Keynes and an Indian and Italian restaurant (eat-in or takeaway) in Nutley, within 2.2 miles.

Nearby sporting and recreational activities include clay pigeon shooting at Northall Club in Fletching, riding at East View Farm Riding Centre and fishing at Latchetts Lakes in Danehill. Golf at Lindfield and Haywards Heath, sailing at Weir Wood and Ardingly Reservoirs and racing at Plumpton and Brighton.
Visit nearby Borde Hill Gardens with open air concerts, Standen National Trust House and Garden, Wakehurst Botanical Gardens and Ardingly Country Fair Showground. The charming and picturesque villages of Lindfield, Hartfield, Forest Row, Horsted Keynes and Fletching are within a 10-20 mins drive, offering a variety of shops, cafes and highly regarded pubs such as The Griffin in Fletching.
