Kipps Farm
The property is in the small hamlet of Stevenstone some two miles from Torrington. It is quiet and peaceful, set in its own private grounds. Guests are welcome to use the guest sitting/dining room during their stay, or sit in the garden - weather permitting! CYCLISTS PLEASE NOTE: we are approximately three miles from the Tarka Trail and there are steep hills in between. There is nowhere within easy cycling distance to obtain an evening meal.
We have lived in and loved this property for 25 years and have enjoyed welcoming guests for the past few years.
Stevenstone is a tiny hamlet which was part of the Rolle Estate. Stevenstone House was partly demolished in the 1930s. Small farms, cottages and other buildings which served the estate remain and came into private ownership. A feature of all the properties are their large, private gardens.
There are steps into the property, the room and into the guest dining room which is across a small terrace so access might be difficult for those with mobility issues.
Please note Kipps Farm cannot accommodate large vehicles or vans.
