Liongate House was converted from a 200 year old stable in 2006. It was sympathetically rebuilt as a bed and breakfast with careful attention to detail. Although modern inside the outside was rebuilt using the old bricks to retain its character.
We moved to Ilchester from Surrey in August 2013 to take over the ownership of Liongate House which was already being run as a successful bed and breakfast. We are now living the dream!
Ilchester is an old roman town and is steeped in history. Liongate House is within a very short walk which is flat, well lit and with a pavement from a good selection eating establishments.
Check in is between 4.00pm and no later than 8.00pm. All requests for check-in/check-out outside of scheduled hours are subject to approval by the property and must be requested before arrival.
