The Lodge is situated in the beautiful town of Swanage which is Located in the Isle of Purbeck, Dorset. The sea view makes this property very desirable. Over looking Swanage Bay to Harry Rocks and over Swanage Town. Warm and cosy with full length windows facing Barrow Down and Corfe to the left. Sit in the Garden and enjoy the Southern sunshine, as Swanage is known to have more hours of sunshine than most other places.
We are a family who also love our stays in Swanage. We have been visiting for many years and the majority of our family also holiday in the purbeck countryside. If there is anything you need to know or enquire about please do not hesitate to ask, as we want all our customers to enjoy the surrounding area as much as us and there is not much we do know about Swanage and its beach life, countryside and night life.
Swanage is teeming with activities. With only a 10 to 15 minute stroll to the beaches, steam train and Town Centre. Studlands famous beach is a short drive, also with the chain ferry to Sandbanks and Poole harbour being 15 minutes by car or jump on the open top buses and enjoy the fresh air. Boat trips run from Swanage,s Beautiful Victorian Pier. Head to Poole Harbour, Brownsea Island, or cruise around the Isle of Wight. Fishing trips are also available as well as the well known Diving Schools and Charter boats. It is also well know for its Carnival and many different festivals throughout the year. You could head out to the World Famous Tank Museum at Bovington, or have a fun day out at Monkey World (featured on many TV Channels). Also the famous Arne RSPB site is only a 6 mile drive, this really is a place of tranquility (seen on 2023 SPRING WATCH). Swanage situated in the Isle of Purbeck really does have endless things to do with in the stunning surrounding area of the jurassic Coast line and Rolling Dorset Downs.
