There are a number of superb walks from the doorstep of Long Meadow Barn, with Morchard Bishop being an integral part of the Two Moors Way, which is a route connecting Dartmoor and Exmoor, along with cycling routes through rolling countryside. The surrounding countryside beckons with opportunities for adventure and exploration. Miles of walking and cycling trails wind through scenic landscapes, with the Two Moors Way passing right through Down St. Mary. Golf enthusiasts will appreciate Waterbridge Golf Course, just a mile away, while local fishing spots offer quiet relaxation by the water’s edge. Down St. Mary is rich in local flavour, with numerous country pubs offering a taste of Devon hospitality. The Devonshire Dumpling, just a half-mile stroll away, serves excellent food in a friendly atmosphere.
