Welcome to your cozy retreat in Merthyr Tydfil, this charming 3 bedroom old miners house offers the perfect blend of comfort and convenience. A comfortable place to stay after you have been exploring one of the many attractions in the area. Located in a quiet neighbourhood, you’ll easily be able to plan your visit to local attractions and amenities. Relax in the comfortable rooms, unwind in the living room or cook up some hearty food in the fully-equipped kitchen. when the weather is amenable enjoy the garden space to chill out. with parking at the rear and an EV charging station as well as the ability to park outside the property its ideal accommodation for families, contractors and groups. We welcome well behaved dogs, adults and children. The property has been refurbished and can accommodate up to 6 people. You can also store bikes within the property, provided they are clean (there is an outside tap to assist with this). The inviting living room with a cozy sofa, and a smart tv to enable you to sign into your favourite shows and free wifi. A perfect spot to relax and recharge your batteries. the space extends into a dinning area with table and chairs for 6 people to enjoy a good meal whilst going through the days adventures. A fully equipped kitchen including washing machine, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster together with everything you’ll need to whip up a delicious meal during your stay. Enjoy the convenience of the dishwasher for easy clean up so you can spend the time relaxing or socializing. Modern bathroom with shower and complimentary toiletries, stocked with fresh towels to ensure your comfort and convenience. There is one double bed, and another double bed that can be split into single beds, the third room has strong bunk beds suitable for adults as well as children. quality linen and fluffy towels are provided.

Neighbourhood information

Merthyr was at one point the iron capital of the world, evidence of which can be seen around the town, and Cynarfa castle and museum is a good place to find out more of the local history. Bike Park Wales with its uplift and over 40 trails for riders of all abilities is 10 minutes away. The Brecon Beacons with plenty of walks in the area, including Pen y Fan (South Wales highest mountain), Henyrhdd falls, Pontiscill reservoir where you can stop for a delightful cream tea at the old Barn Tea Rooms are all within a short drive. Within half an hour you can be exploring the Big Pit National Coal Museum, sampling delights of Pendryn Whisky, or for adventure seekers Zipworld is a great day out. For the history enthusiasts Castell Coch, Morlais, Cardiff and Caerphilly castle are all within easy reach of the property.
