Meadow View is a completely self contained brand-newly converted guest house next to my house in a quiet street on the edge of Lewes, right on the South Downs. The guest house is compact, but light and airy due to its large skylight and double patio doors. There’s a double sofa-bed which is very comfortable and easy to convert. (This will be already converted into bed-mode for your first night) A small kitchen includes a microwave, toaster, fridge, toasted sandwich maker and kettle. You will also have your own en-suite private bathroom with a new shower and a toilet. It also includes your own outside decking area with views out to the meadows and across the downs, receiving afternoon and evening sun, and often lovely sunset views. There’s also free parking on the private driveway.

Hello! I’m Ellie and I’ll be hosting you at my cozy guest house. Let me know if you have any requirements beforehand and I’ll do my best to provide them. I work full time so I may be intermittently around but not necessarily there to meet you or see you during your stay. However there is a key safe onsite so you can easily let yourself in on arrival. Please make sure you check your messages before your arrival for the key safe code! Please also note we have two very friendly but nosy cats who will say hello and will very much want you to watch them wrestle.

We are on a quiet street with neighbours directly either side. This would therefore suit quiet guests looking for a peaceful stay. This is also proving popular with those coming for work purposes or visiting friends due to the free convenient parking and it having its own entrance. There’s a bus stop a three minute walk away, town is a twelve minute walk and Lewes train station a twenty minute walk. Please note there are ten steps down to the guest house from the pavement, one step within the space and six steps from the decking area to the garden.
