Welcome to the Acorns, a modern self-contained annexe within a superb countryside location in the village of Kelly Bray with good access from the A30 & A38 main roads into Cornwall. The annexe is attached to our home but has its own entrance, parking & patio area. It is off the main road & has countryside views across our field. A perfect base for couples, nestled between Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, and on the main bus route from Plymouth to Bude. The bus stop and village pub are both a 5 minute walk.
I spend a lot of my time at home pottering around the garden, as well as indoors sewing and knitting. My husband and I live in a beautiful and quiet countryside location and we're sure anybody staying will find it equally as peaceful. As this is an annexe adjoined to our home, you might occasionally see me pottering around the gardens or fields. You have the annexe entirely to yourselves, but feel free to chat or ask questions about the area or places to visit. I have chickens so you may see them roaming around, as well as the squirrels, hedgehogs and many birds that visit the garden.
Kelly Bray is a small village a mile from the town of Callington. There is a pub, which serves food, a small shop, launderette and post office. There is also a cafe/bakery that serves delicious breakfast rolls, cakes, pastries and savory items. The village is quiet and on the main bus route. The towns of Tavistock, Liskeard, Saltash and Launceston are all within 10 miles.
