Kick back and relax in your calm and stylish room. The pillows and duvet are natural goose down which ensure this is a very comfortable and luxurious stay. We do also have the option of hypoallergenic bedding for those who would prefer it. We would only ask when requesting your stay that you state your preference so we may get the bedding ready to your liking. Just a couple of things for your information. Here at Moorcroft, we are a home stay accommodation. For clarity, the term "unit" refers to your room. My husband and i have been hosting for a while and really enjoy meeting new people. I work as a Casino Supervisor and my husband works for the NHS.
We are a short bus ride from central High Wycombe. If you are interested in attractions to entertain you during your stay we highly recommend West Wycombe village, the Earl of Dashwood’s Estate which is called West Wycombe Park and part of the National Trust, his Mausoleum which is at the top of a hill behind the village and the world famous Hell Fire caves which is situated below the Mausoleum. Opening times and dates can be found on the National Trust website and finally The Orchard cafe which is situated in the high street, they do amazing snacks and drinks all of which are 0.6 miles from our homestay and a lovely walk to. Alternatively, if you would like to explore at the bottom of our road the river, its bridge and a bridle path leading to fantastic views from the back end of Earl of Dashwood’s Estate through public access of the white gate that you see at the bottom of our road. The river picture that is our profile picture is this river. You can find pictures of the views in our photo gallery. Access to the river is free and available all year round from our road however in the rainy season you might need wellies for the bridle path as it can be a bit boggy! But dont despair if you haven't as we can direct you the long way round where it is much more solid underfoot!
