Mowers Mews is a beautiful detached character property in a peaceful and centrally-located area in the old part of Midhurst town centre. With three fully equipped comfy bedrooms which all have large wardrobes. plenty of storage space and fans should you need them. An en-suite bathroom, a family bathrooms and a downstairs toilet. A comfy lounge fully equipped with a smart tv, dvd player, bluetooth speaker, fireplace and plenty of dvd’s, books and games. A fully equipped kitchen with built in oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, espresso machine, washing machine and a full array of other cooking equipment, cutlery and crockery for your stay. There is a comfy dining area next to the kitchen. In the easy to access garage you will find a freezer, tumble dryer and bbq as well as storage space for bicycles etc and there is also a picnic basket available for days out. It has a private covered driveway with parking for 1 car and a garage for motorbikes and bicycles. To the rear of the property is a pretty and private walled courtyard garden with table, chairs and a bbq. A few minutes walk to its many shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs, Cowdray estate and local markets. It is in the centre of the Southdown's national park and close to the Southdown's way hiking trail. Nearby are the Cowdray and Goodwood estates, Petworth and its house and park as well as many other national trust properties. A short drive from the city of Chichester with its beautiful cathedral and the coast for its beeches, sailing and windsurfing. You will find everything you need to feel at home in a comfy quiet hideaway yet close to everything you need.
We hare happy to interact with you however you wish, there is a key safe so you can let yourself in without any need to meet us but if you would prefer for us to meet you on arrival and take you through the property then we are happy to do that too. We will contact your after booking with our mobile numbers and create a messaging group so we can make contact during your stay and answer any questions you have. We live 20 minutes away from the property so can be with you fairly quickly in case of an emergency.
You are in walking distance to both a Sainsburys and Tesco Express as well as two Chinese restaurants, an Indian restaurant and there is a lovely Italian restaurant at the end of duck lane. There are numerous cafes, a lovely Deli / cafe called Comestibles nearby that has the best coffee and wonderful food. The Grange leisure centre is a five minute walk away and also contains the library. There are a number of pubs, chemists, brocante shops and all the amenities you could need within a walking distance. It is centrally located for many of the local venues and festivals like Goodwood with it’s horse racing, motor racing, airfield and golf course, Cowdray, its polo events, golf course, foraging courses, polo school, shooting school, and shops as well as its lovely estate for walking on. The South Downs way’s walks, bridle paths and cycling. Within 30 minute’s drive from Chichester’s beautiful coastline, harbours and sailing, the golden sands of the Witterings and East Head. The West Dean estate and gardens, The Weald and Downland museum and many other attractions in the area. We are blessed with a huge array of lovely gastro pubs in stunning locations so there is no need to cook if you don’t want too.
