    The location was excellent for us as we could walk into Stornoway and easily drive to the places we wanted in visit in North Lewis. The apartment was a lovely place for us to relax for a couple of days part way through a road trip.

    Liked outlook from conservatory and was well equipped generally. Disliked narrow staircase to bedroom. Bed not comfortable and on the small side. Traffic noise from being close to main road.

Modern two bedroom self contained cottage with lovely conservatory on edge of town. Level Access, Underfloor Heating, Superfast Broadband, Sky Glass 43" TV with Sky Entertainment and Netflix, Private Patio with Garden, Flower Box, Drying Green, very large area of Tarred off-street Parking. Adjacent to main Bus Stop for town. 1 mile from Town Centre and Ferry Terminal, 4 miles from Airport. Perfect base for exploring Lewis and Harris with stunning beaches within 30 minutes. Ground floor has Sitting Room, Conservatory, Kitchen, Single Bedroom and Bathroom. Upper floor has large en-suite Double Bedroom.
I am married to John. We have three lovely grown up sons. Life motto is, "Do to others as you would have them do to you". Host living next door and always available through e-mail or ‘phone.
Edge of town but open views across saltings with good opportunities for walks in the area, including around the 270ha Lews Castle Grounds, a Victorian ornamental and estate landscape with fine elevated views over Stornoway. Lews Castle Grounds contains a challenging 18 hole Golf Course and the stunning Lews Castle gothic-revival Boutique Hotel. Adjacent to main Bus Stop for town and 20 minute walk from Town Centre, Museum nan Eilean and the expansive, wooded Lews Castle Grounds. 10 minute walk from nearest Coop supermaket. Centrally located for all main visitor attractions with easy access to ferry and Airport. Extensive beaches within a 30 minute drive and an excellent base for exploring Lewis and Harris.
