Owls Nest is located on a farm about 7 miles from the small towns of Woodbridge & Framlingham and about 15 miles from the Suffolk Heritage Coast. You'll love my place because of the peace and tranquility. In fact many of our guests comment on the beautiful idilic location as soon as they arrive, the cosiness & the views. The barn accommodation is on the first floor and accessible via an external wooden staircase. Great for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and furry friends (pets).

I have been renting Owls Nest since 2013 and have welcomed many guests over the years, receiving lots of great reviews. I joined this website in May 2023. Many of my guests regularly return to enjoy the unique features that the property has to offer with its rural location. I enjoy living in the countryside and spending time with my horses, cats and dogs. My other main interest is playing tennis. We live on site so are available to help guests if needed and also provide local knowledge of places to visit, eat etc.

The local landscape is mostly made up of various arable crops along with the odd field of sheep. Quiet single track lanes lead to the nearest village of Charsfield about 1.5 miles away where there is a church and recreation ground with a tennis court. There are lots of nice country pubs in the surrounding villages only a short drive away. The nearest shop and post office is located in the village of Otley about 10 minutes drive away or alternatively at Wickham Market also a 10 minute drive where there are shops and amenities including Chinese & Indian restaurants and a fish & chip shop. Own transport essential.
