A small adult only exclusive site with 2 deluxe shepherds huts, a converted cabin & hymer are available to rent separately or together (depending on availability) sleeping up to 2 guests in each. 100metres from beautiful Porthcothan beach, this glamping area has everything you need for the perfect stay all year round. A shop, cafe, bus stop and the South West Coast Path are also close by. Ideal for short breaks its perfect for walkers, couples, or a small group.

Situated 5 miles from Padstow and 6 miles from Newquay, Porthcothan Retreats is ideally located on the coast with a bus stop next door and Newquay airport a few miles away. With its own private entrance and off road parking you will arrive to a secluded south-facing glamping spot. Each glamping spot has their own kitchen, bathroom, bbq & garden & seating area, Situated 100metres from beautiful Porthcothan beach, this area has everything you need for the perfect stay. The Deluxe Hut 1 boasts a fold away table & seating area, a double bed, an en-suite shower, toilet & sink, full kitchen facilities, fridge with freezer section, oven, hob, grill, even an extractor fan! A smart freeview tv is located on the wall which includes Netflix, iplayer etc. Superfast WiFi is also available both inside and outside the huts. A log burner will be waiting for you which will keep you toastie & warm and with ample outdoor space to enjoy for the summer months for al fresco dinners, bbqs or just sitting quietly in the sun reading, it is the perfect getaway.
Porthcothan Retreats is located within the bay itself. A beach, shop/cafe, tea rooms and the South West Coast Path are all on the doorstep. The grounds that surround the shepherds huts leads down into Porthcothan valley taking you into a nature’s haven with birds, wildflowers, flora and fauna during spring & summer. A choice awaits left into the valley crossing pretty bridges and paddling in the stream, the footpath takes you all the way to Penrose a lovely walk or turn right leading you to the beach through the enchanting footpath where you can step onto a beautiful sandy beach, sunbathe, swim & surf. Lifeguards are on duty during the main season, its a perfect spot.
For foodies there are some excellent restaurants close by from the well known Rick Stein & Paul Ainsworth, Nathan Outlaw chefs to smaller but equally delicious restaurants, cafes, pubs and secret spots! (Which are listed in your welcome guide)
