The property is a gorgeous, stone built, 16th century Grade 2 listed property situated in the market town of Faringdon. This handsome former farmhouse with a Georgian and Victorian Wing, exudes character and period features.
The double room with a king size bed is very spacious and has views over the garden and is accessible from a private entrance and is housed within the oldest part of the property. It has exclusive and sole use of a lovely recently renovated bathroom.
We have recently renovated and have lovingly restored this property. I am love walking and hiking in the Oxfordshire area and enjoy floristry and crafting.

Faringdon is itself a charming destination and is in fact only 20 minutes from Swindon and 30 from Oxford. It enjoys a number of independent shops and delightful places to eat and drink. It has a fascinating history, a museum, gorgeous views from the Folly and quirky charming eccentricities (Lord Berner) to spot.
It is a useful stopping point for those journeying north east from the West Country or south west from the north or east.
Ideally situated to enjoy an affordable day trip to the Cotswolds and for those who enjoy walking and hiking, the delights of the Ridgeway. Close by is the Uffington White Horse, the oldest of the English hill figures, a 3,000-year-old enormous white, abstract stick figure horse cut from the chalk itself. Come May, the bluebell display in Badbury Clump is absolutely stunning.
The town is well serviced by regular buses to and from both Oxford and Swindon, Wantage and Didcot. It has good access to the A420 and the surrounding villages, Lechlade, Shrivenham and many more besides.
