Situated close to the shores of Lough Erne in a rural location 7 miles from Enniskillen and a short drive from Castle Archdale, Rossclare Lodge offers an ideal getaway for non-smoking singles and couples looking for comfort and relaxation. Enjoy a log fire during the winter months in our spacious yet cosy guest lounge. Bring a picnic, a takeaway or your own drinks to enjoy inside and out. We can provide crockery, cutlery and glassware on request. Alternatively book a delicious homemade afternoon tea with us or, if you're too tired to go out after a long drive, we can offer a delicious charcuterie board for 2 people.
You can stroll down the lane to the jetty and enjoy the fabulous views across the lough and a barbecue at one of the purpose built picnic tables too.
We have taken every care to ensure that our rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished to provide you with home from home comforts: from great quality mattresses to large bath sheets and lots of little extras in the bathroom. You will always have homemade cookies in your room, and can request tea/coffee and cake in the lounge on arrival between 4.00 and 5.30pm.
Lough Erne is a great fishing location and a license is so easy to come by, so bring your gear and enjoy a couple of days on the water. Or bring your kayaks and take them down to the jetty for some fun. We'll even make you a packed lunch to take out for the day.
You will receive a warm welcome on arrival whatever time you get here! Denise loves to bake, so expect to find homemade cookies and traybakes in your room, fresh every day, and breakfast will always have at least one other option apart from a full Irish cooked breakfast. Formerly a wedding florist, Denise still loves to leave posies around the house to add to your enjoyment and runs floristry workshops throughout the year. Our gorgeous labradoodle, Basil, will be around to entertain you too! We love to make people happy so don't be afraid to ask if there's something you need that we might have overlooked.
Rossclare jetty is just a mile down the lane from the Lodge. Take a stroll and watch the sunset. It's stunning! We're three miles from the local shops in Irvinestown and a mile from a fabulous restaurant at a local hotel. Castle Archdale and the marina are just a few minutes away, and there's easy access to Cuilcagh mountain and the Boardwalk/ Stairway to heaven. Enniskillen is less than 7 miles away with the castle, shops, museums and water activities. Lots to do in this beautiful part of Northern Ireland. Visit the Marble Arch Caves, the Boardwalk gin distillery and take a drive around Navar Forest Park. If you like National Trust properties, you'll love Castle Coole and Florence court and if ruins are your thing, visit Monea and Tully Castles too or take the water taxi from Enniskillen Castle to Devenish Island to see the 6th century monastery ruins and tower. And don't forget, if you want to do Fermanagh justice, you'll need to stay for at least two nights!
