About this property
Set in a magnificent former coaching inn, Royal Oak Hotel is surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Snowdonia National Park. With free parking and traditional rooms, the property is located along the historic A5 route from Holyhead to London The individual rooms boast scenic views and luxury modern bathrooms with free toiletries. Some have ornate four-poster or sleigh beds. All rooms have Wi-Fi access and TVs with over 50 Freeview channels. The Grill Room at the Royal Oak serves delicious modern dishes giving preference to local products. From Friday through Sunday the guests can enjoy the Grill Room cuisine in the windows of the Llugwy River Restaurant. With a picturesque village location in Betws-y-Coed, The Royal Oak Hotel is at the gateway to Snowdonia. Due to the historical nature of the hotel, we do not have a lift. It is stairs only to the first and second floor where the main hotel rooms are all situated. The Stables Lodge accommodation located in the annex to the main building has a lift. Also, we do not allow dog's in our accommodation.
