Saltwick cottage, a traditional grade II listed fisherman’s cottage. Private garden, right in the heart of the old town. Few minutes from the beach’s. Cafe’s, restaurants and a bakery all within 2 minutes walk. Situated off the cobbled Church Street, up a quiet yard with steps. The cottage is peaceful and quiet. A romantic cottage, ideal for couple or family. Main entrance leads into sitting room dinning/kitchen area. Up 5 steps to stable door opens into the garden. Steps to the first floor is a light airy double bedroom and bathroom. Second floor is a twin bedroom and snug with views. 20 Steps up to the cottage and steps inside that are narrow. We accept one well behaved dog.

I absolute love the cottage. We live on a busy working farm in North Yorkshire, when we can we try and stay at Whitby. Whitby is hard to describe as it’s offers so much diversity and variety of culture. For me and my family I love walking, searching for fossils, swimming and cycling. Sitting in the garden which is peaceful, eating out, history of Whitby, artists and local music. We enjoy cycling, swimming, sailing, cooking.

Located up a beautiful yard in the old part of town. Quiet and peaceful. 1 minute walk brings you onto Church street, restaurants, shops, bars, bakery and Abbey steps. The beach is a 2 minute walk. All in walking distance. Private parking place available please let me know if you require a space when booking, 5 minutes level walk.
