Situated in the heart of the English Riviera, equi-distant between Paignton and Brixham town centres, (10 minutes drive to each), is a stunning, sandy beach haven called Broadsands Beach. Seaspot apartment is an easy 5-minute stroll to this beach, which has a relaxed vibe and is surrounded by trees and greenery in every direction. The bed now has a Tempur Luxe king-size mattress for your added comfort.
Kayak or Sup rental. The Manor Inn Galmpton. Number 12 bus. Beaches, coves and walks to explore. Free open air Lido. Agatha Christies house Greenway run by National Trust. Brixham Theatre, Princess Theatre, Palace Theatre, Babbacombe Theatre. Museums. Paignton Zoo. Supermarkets nearby, Sainsburys, Lidl, Aldi, Asda, Morrisons. Totnes with its quirky shops & Friday & Saturday markets. Goodrington beach Water park. In Summer the Torquay Eye. Annual Torbay Airshow. Brixham Harbour to see seals, swans, possibly dolphins & seabirds. Francis Drake’s Golden Hind. The Breakwater & lighthouse. from Brixham harbour take a water ferry to Dartmouth, Paignton or Torquay or a Sunset cruise! From Paignton, which is a 10-minute drive you really can enjoy the day and do the “Round Robin” trip. This encompasses the steam train to Kingswear, followed by a short tug or chain ferry ride over to Dartmouth, followed by a trip on a river boat to Totnes and finally an open-air tourist bus back to the start at Paignton. Or take a pre-war paddle steamer up the river Dart. Dartmouth is also home to the annual Dartmouth Royal Regatta as well as food and music festivals.
