Shandwick House has stood in historic Tain since 1859. Now a modern Guest House, offering guests all the comforts you'd expect. We offer plenty of private off-street parking, wifi in every room and a homely atmosphere you don't get in the big Hotel chains. Breakfast is included in the room rates with plenty hot and cold choices available and dietary needs catered for. Located on the famous NC500, close to a number of Golf Courses, beaches, castles and Distilleries, Shandwick House is the perfect choice for work or leisure. Supermarkets are within walking distance and the town centre is just a few minutes walk, giving guests easy access to all the conveniences of the town, but in a peaceful setting. In the afternoon the breakfast room doubles as a lounge and is left open for guests to enjoy. Take your book down or sit by the bay window and watch the world go by or chat to other guests. Dennis, Clara and Alec the Dalmatian look forward to welcoming you to their home and providing you with all you need to enjoy this wonderful area and beyond.
